Say "cheese"
Smile pretty and say "cheese"! I found this non-working Kodak Instamatic camera at last week's estate sale and decided to make it into a photo holder. Some wire, a drill, and Voila!
I mugged for a camera just like this one LOTS while I was growing up. It was one of the first cameras that made photo-taking easy, peasy.

Hi Teresa..
I was visiting a few more Texas Bloggin ladies tonight..and I am so proud I did,for I found your blog. I'm not sure how long I've been here looking and reading, but it's been awhile.I love thrifting, antiques, vintage (most anything vintage)..we like so many of the same things. Love your artwork, specially the pieces the lady wanted 25 more made up... I've just really enjoyed myself and have become a follower. Can't wait to see what you do next.. I also really liked the chalkboard you did with the window.
Come visit when you can... have a lovely week.
Hi Teresa, Thanks for the nice comments on my blog, I recall those cameras too. American Pickers is fun to watch, wish I could do what they do. Have a great Tuesday. Smiles, Carol Mae
That is SUCH a smart and creative idea! I have an old camera at home that I'm gonna try this on. :-)
Have a wonderful day!

Hey Teresa-
that camera brought back memories.
Cameras are more complicated now.
Have you found any new treasures?

What an adorable idea! You are brilliant--and you can really pick these cameras up (non working anyways) at thrift stores everywhere. Cool!

Thanks for visiting my blog, so that I could find YOUR wonderful blog! I've been a little slow lately, since spring is here, and if I can, I'm OUTSIDE as much as I can be. I've never thought of making a trip to Texas, but you and the places you show in your blog make me want to take a trip! Sales are just starting here, I can't wait to find more great stuff! Karen
Cute idea...Hello, as you can see I have added you to my blog list of Texans and hope you will come and visit and follow along.
