Granny green

I go through LOTS of paint, so I love to hit the "mis-tints" ailse at WalMart and Lowe's. It's good paint, it just didn't turn out to be the shade that the previous customer was looking for. At half-off, it is often the perfect shade for me!! This time, I found some good ole granny green exterior paint. I hadn't thought to call this color Granny Green until I ran into a woman in Bastrop that referred to it that way.

Let me tell you, the shop hasn't cooled off one bit. The cool fronts haven't made it anywhere near this far south. These birdhouses are going into one of the shops in Corpus tomorrow. I guess it's real sweat equity.

Wire basket Paparazzi

The wire baskets that I picked up at that awesome sale are getting some nice paparazzi this week. First, they were featured on ArtFire when Timely Impressions added them to her member-curated collection that she entitled Black, Red, Silver

then today. . .

. . . Alice of Time Passages featured them in her Etsy treasury, entitled Industrial Strength

Be sure to click on both of their shop names so you can see the marvelous goodies they have in their shops.

I feel so

My, what a big spout you have!

I picked this watering can up at an estate sale a couple of weeks ago. I have never seen another like it.

The Reading Room

This afternoon, I received a convo from Denise at World Vintage Books that my brass door plates had been included in her Vintage Market Team treasury entitled The Reading Room. It is always nice to be included in the treasuries. It is super nice if it ends up on the Etsy home page. :D

Wimberley Market Days

Next weekend, I am going to go visit my parents in Bastrop. I plan to show up with a loaf of freshly baked orange cranberry bread. My sister is heading up there also. While we are there, we are planning to visit downtown Bastop and check out the sweet antique shops that are sprinkled around. Then on Saturday, we will go and shop, shop, shop at Wimberley Market Days and maybe hit an antique store or two to top the day off perfectly.
